| The CS page strikes as comparable to using the CGC forum but I haven't had a chance to really dig into it yet. What I think I'll miss most of all is all the bitching about how CBCS customer service were just so mean to the drive by flamers who would post one message about how something was amiss only to disappear back to the void from whence they came. Then we come to some of our long-gone members who were entertaining in their own unique ways. One of my favorites was comixfan59 who behaved like a jilted lover because he couldn't believe that not packing his comics appropriately resulted in impact bends during shipping. Wild. Then there was Tedsaid who I actually liked, but couldn't control himself when it came to politics. The legendary DocBrown, DarthLego, Redshade, and the list goes on and on. May we all see them again on the Syndicate. |

| I am sending in about 4 doz comics. About a dozen of them are 1st 38 appearances of Silver Surfer (Fantastic Four 48 - Silver Surfer 18). Most of the are in overgraded cgc slabs that I was able to get far enough below the fmv to compensate for a possible grade drop even after a press by the CBCS Team Pancakes. | ||

Like @Studley_Dudley I’m also 42 and came up when manga was finding its way to the states in the late 80s and early 90s. So I’ve been occupied with hunting down Zasshis. To name a few, I’ll miss Marty’s collection updates, @Studley_Dudley shared love for Drek and newsstands, @esaravo always being a gentleman and the voice of reason, and @poka fire sales for charity. These boards will be missed. |

| A sub forum is just a smaller forum inside a big forum for lack of a better phase. This board has no sub forums. It's more or less stream of consciousness posts. Over on the CS site, the main forum is Third Party Grading and Restoration. The sub forum is CBCS Grading Experiences. In that sub forum, you can create a thread just like you do here. There wouldn't need to be anything new created. I'm not sure about notifications. There is probably something you can click on at the top of the CBCS Grading Experiences sub forum that will send an email notification when a new thread is started, but I haven't checked. I always just look as I have notifications turned off. They would drive me insane. |
