just grabbed these at my LCS...had to get the 10 because I will never own a 10 otherwise (and it's an old label which is cool) |

Thanks to @Watcher, I picked up two moderns today. I went to the same LCS he did, but I am too darn picky on buying raw wall books that are not high grade. I almost picked up a raw Swamp Thing #1 (first series), but it failed my personal inspection for grade. So I ended up with two moderns (I talked to the owner for an hour and a half, so I felt like I had to buy something). I have seen this book jump in value, and this copy is really nice. I have seen a few episodes of this show, so I said why not? |

I had a 9.8 of iZombie #1 I bought in a lot. The math worked out to $11 per slab. I wish I hung onto it. I had no idea it was gonna become a TV show at the time. |

I got a Daredevil sketch cover by Frank Miller last year and it was about what one would expect from Miller. I honestly was not very happy with the results, considering what a Miller sketch costs. I contacted Joe Rubinstein asking if he would ink it for me and clean it up. I also asked him to add a right arm as I felt one should be visible. He agreed so I sent him the book. He sent me this pic today. Much better. I don't have the book in hand right now but I will soon. I'm debating if I should get it colored or leave it as is. |

@dielinfinite yeah I love those Wolverines. Janson was my first choice but he wanted $400. Rubinstein was $150. Just for shits and giggles I asked Neal Adams rep what he would charge to ink it. $1,000. Lol

@AndyRexia I would not get it colored. It looks great just like it is. That looks so much better after being inked.
