this one is glory - like half my family is on this

Grandmother and three of her brothers and 2 of their wives as well as cousins etc. etc.
Not sure if my dad and uncle were in the orchestra then - they were however part of the dance troupe along with a ton of their cousins
Have 1 or two other albums with a bunch of them on it as well as later CDs!! - they even played Expo 86!!

My wife and I have quite a few. This was one I was stoked to get. I saw it in the background of a local reseller's social media post and immediately drove over to their shop to get it.

Fair warning about buying albums. Color touch and other amateur restoration is common in this market.

I used to buy from a huge record store when I lived in St Louis. One day I was in the store and they had a huge collection that they had just picked up. Four of their employees were sitting at the main desk with boxes of different colored markers color touching the jackets. My eyes bulged at what I was witnessing, so I asked what they were doing, the owner said they did this to all their albums to make them look better because they're easier to sell. He said that all record stores do it. It was a common practice.

I went home and looked through the ones I had bought from them. Sure enough, every one of them had color touch.

I never went back to the store. It also marked an end of me collecting albums out of fear.

@SteveRicketts It didn't really occur to me that there is a market for "graded" LP's. But sure enough, they are out there! AMG is one place (I had to google it). I wouldn't let that one place deter you from collecting LP's if it's something you're passionate about. Kinda like comics. You of all people should be able to detect color touchup prior to buying! Do you think Beckett will eventually get into grading records?

Our collection, particularly the portion curated by me, is a bit chaotic.

There's the technically stolen promotional copies:

The oddball bootlegs:

The albums that were oddly not reissued on vinyl until very recently:

Sabaton (because metal):

And popular music, too:

Im debating on posting the only vinyl I own and a super niche CD that requires a specific sense of humor and the knowledge that it exists to actually appreciate.

Stayed tuned; same comic channel; probably not same comic time.
