yes - bought from them before (auctions) all good (although shipping did take a bit of time) btw - normal for auction sites to ask for credit card to ensure you are a legit buyer |

Be warned, if you buy something on comicconnect takes long time to reach you. Took them around 3 weeks to usually ship stuff to me.

ya. last time i ordered something from Metropolis it took 2 months (or so) before they shipped the books. comicconnect has never been that bad, but it is a few weeks before you get them. having said that, i've bid on auctions and bought from comicconnect many many times over the last 5 years and have never had a problem with shipping, or the books. no problems getting the books in Canada either. |

I have been dealing with ComicConnect and Metropolis for several years now. I've sold and bought many books through them. Super staff, but yes, shipping is a little slow. I just received a book I won at auction on Jan. 24 this week. Of course I'm willing to cut them some slack for having to package and ship thousands of books after one of these auctions. Packaging is always top notch and secure. Overall they run a pretty tight ship and are very trust worthy. (Disclaimer: The preceding comments are based on my personal experiences as a free will customer and consigner with ComicConnect/Metropolis Comics. I am in no way affiliated with, have been bribed by or under the employ of ComicConnect/Metropolis Comics to make said comments.) ![]() |

Sometimes the slow shipping is the result of a book being at a show. If the book is in San Diego or London, it can take weeks before it's shipped back to New York, unpacked, and mailed out.

Comic Connect / Metropolis is in Midtown Manhattan. If you live in the area or if you are visiting (for New York Comic Con, etc.) you can arrange to pick up your books from their office. I have been working with them for a long time. I have about 900 consignments listed for sale on their website. |

My experience with them is that they request to have the item in hand for one of their auctions or at least have it by the end of auction. Non-auction consignments you may keep in your possession until the item sells.
