I've decided that I just can't pick the Falcons, maybe ever again.

At the beginning of the season this year my buddy and I were discussing which game(s) we should get tickets for. We have an annual tradition going back over a decade of attending at least one game each season (covid year excluded). Our initial plan was to make a road trip down to Cincinnati and to go to the Thanksgiving day game against the Packers. Sadly we ended up getting priced out of both games. Cheapest tickets for Thursdays game were around $475 at the beginning of the year. I am sure they are more than that now. In spite of that, we have found a way to keep tradition alive! We went down to Cleveland for a game last year and had a great time, so we decided to look into getting some Browns tickets. I was happy to find that they are a fraction of the price of Lions tickets. We are heading down there Sunday to take in Browns/ 49ers and keep our annual tradition intact. Tickets were around $85. The Browns actually have tickets available as low as $22 if anyone wants to see them take on the Tennessee Titans. You can’t even park your car in Detroit for $22! Not sure if I will be rooting for the Browns or Niners. I am leaning 49ers, but it depends on the playoff picture after the Lions game on Thursday. A Lions win and it’s go Niners. A Lions loss puts them in a more direct competition with SF for a wildcard spot and it will be go Browns! Should be a good time either way!

I feel you. It was hard to color in that box for the Falcons! I have zero confidence in them.

Thought it was just ne they've been picking on. F'em, I'm taking Tyrod this week.

Stud done shook me off my Cinci square, smh. They came through at least twice this season for me. I've been watchin this NFL product for nearly 4 decades and living in Indianapolis, I'm well aware of the twin sister factory of sadness... thought Burrow turned things around. He did not, especially when he's not out there.

I'm putting some hope into Kid Crableg on Monday night. Vrabel isn't gonna be able to plan for that level of chaos, even at home.

Green Bay at Detroit - that's a toss up. Hopefully I picked some hungry Lions that like cheese.

KC at Dallas - is another toss up. Is Dallas hungry for a real win, or a turkey leg on a national (media) holiday?

Chicago at Philly - I picked the Eagles but I would really like to see the Bears come in and rip shit apart.

Jacksonville at Tennessee - I was going to pick the Jags but switched to the Titans. IDK,.. just a gut feeling.

LA Rams at Carolina - I anticipate this to be a hardcore-smash-mouth-in-your-face game.

@Pre_Coder, I know what you mean about the KC/Dallas Game. I went back and forth but finally decided on Dallas because they are the home team, and they have a good Thanksgiving Day record.

Yeah, I remember they were always beating the crap out of my Redskins back in the days on Thanksgiving.

Well, I dropped the ball last week. I guess that I just have too much going on lately. I am unfortunately bowing out for the remainder of this season.

Good Luck to everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!

Go Lions!

I'm ok with being wrong on the nightcap. Bengals beating Baltimore is always nice.
