I've been holding off because I'm not certain of any tariff impacts and I can't really seem to find any information on things. Anyone have experience? I know I've bought from MCS with no issues......

Go join the Collector Syndicate and ask grggy or aardvark88. They are Canadian tax gurus that work for the government. They can tell you. You can also try PMing greggy here, but I don't know if he will answer. There is also a tariff thread over there that probably already answers your question, but I've never read it.

@DrWatson @GAC - thanks!! Took till page 3 and 4 before getting some decent info Looks like everything should be tariff or counter tariff free - just the normal duties etc....potentially as a buyer in the US an "Entry Prep Fee" of $10 per package....but if I mark as comic books for "repair and return" I think even that will be zero?? and that was for the purchaser not the sender Soooo....depending on the Massive VSP promo...I think I might have a dozen books or more to send in...will give it a try??

| I have a friend living in NB who's been sending books to the US for grading, and he said "given the comics were originally produced in the US, you can think of them as 'simply going home to visit for a short while'.' | ||

I sent books in for grading in late August, they just entered grading now (ASP / VSP) I used Canada Post I used Max Insurance I pre-registered the shipment on the Zonons App (repair and return) and plugged in details when creating the shipping label online. Even with the $1000 value it came up as "Tariff free"....and I'm guessing CBCS dealt with duty issues on arrival. It arrived, no issues. I'm sending in another handful for the new VSP code early next week.
