| Has anyone experienced issues buying from mycomicshop.com? When I want to buy from mycomicshop.com using Paypal, the site takes me to Paypal...I log in, transact and my credit card gets charged...but Paypal doesn’t send me back to Mycomicshop.com to complete the sale. Mycomicshop.com says its a Paypal issue. Paypal says its a Mycomicshop.com issue. The sale is not complete and no purchase is made. Anyone experience this? |

| I have never experienced that issue, however, I canceled PayPal a long time ago. I had nothing but problems with PayPal and they constantly put blame on other companies, when it’s clearly an issue on their end. | ||

| @GAC I've seen similar issues with PP recently. Not necessarily with MCS, though, and not for every retailer. Once I'm taken to the PP screen and my work there is done, PP just kind of spins and doesn't send me back to the retailer site. Most of the time when that happens, the purchase is not completed. Sometimes it is, though. |

| I've only used Paypal and MyComicShop to receive payment of the items I consign to them and have never had an issue. I receive my money immediately. | ||

| Not that problem. But My problem with using PayPal to pay is sometimes it charges my credit card instead of using the PayPal balance I have. | ||

| I use PayPal all the time on eBay, because it's one way I can get back at that greedy company. I make them eat the PP processing fees on my purchases. And I purchase a lot. For MCS purchases, I just use a credit card directly. Different level of trust. |

Quote:Originally Posted by 1979_03 The seller pays eBay 2.9% + $.35 per transaction, no matter the form of payment. EBay's profit on the processing fee will depend on how you pay. If you use sales $$$ to buy, eBay makes the whole 2.9%, since there is no underlying cost to them. They just move money internally, from one Seller account to another. If you pay by CC directly, eBay has to pay the card issuer their fee, so they make the difference. If you pay with PayPal using a CC, eBay has to pay PP's fee, which will be the card issuer's fee plus whatever PP tacks on to make its profit. A PP transaction costs eBay the most, so I want them to pay that. |
