| Every year I go to Heroescon in Charlotte and I’m too old to wait in lines for autographs. I like to go through artists alley and support young talent. A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Phil Ortiz at a comic con and had him do a blank sketch cover of Homer Simpson as a zombie on a walking dead cover. It is a favorite of mine. This year I had commissions done. Homer,Simpson as….. I let the artist pick the blank sketch cover from about 15 I had brought. They all loved the idea. It allowed them to do something different. Veronica and Andy Fish are family so I let them pick the covers and sent it to them,        The Batman 66 had a blank back cover. Andy Fish added Krusty as the Joker along with the comment. If you notice the hint of a mustache under the makeup. Inspired! |
