| @michaelekrupp Sorry to hear about your MIL. RIP. My MIL is in recovery from a fall and subsequent broken hip, too. She was released from the senior rehab earlier, so my wife and I tandems as being her spotter when she takes walks around the neighborhood. She is fiercely independent so luckily her memory is still good but her active window is pretty small so I try to drive her around when she needs it, especially for PT and grocery runs. Glad you are back. Keep on reclaiming what you enjoy doing. With everything else going on, self-care is important! Best regards!! |

Thanks @jake. One thing I have learned from this is to appreciate one’s folks while they are still here (in laws included!). We don’t get to have them around forever. It sounds like you are a good son-in-law and your MIL and your wife are lucky to have you on the team! |
