It sounds like a robot. Having met Stan, it's a little creepy.

If they make him dance and stuff im all in. Have him say crazy things that are over the line. Can't cancel a hologram

It's as if they trapped him in a plastic bubble like an action figure. I'm not sure I'd call that an immersive experience.

I'd like to say I still turned out alright, but that would be a lie. flanders private msg quote post Address this user

@DrWatson What if he was giving out holographic handies?

I can only assume what that means, but I'm pretty sure I don't want one from Stan Lee.

I wouldn’t put it past the promoters to charge you $200 for an “authentic holographic Stan Lee autograph.”

Super creepy, especially with so many people having seen or met him personally going to the cons in that area. Ask all the Marvel artists, what they think.

Maybe in a 100 years it would be better.

Nope, cheesy, unrealistic and just plain creepy. Kind of like using a blow-up doll, just not there yet... so I've been told

In life, they never let the man rest, so in death, this doesn't surprise me.

$20 to ask the AI two questions, $50 includes a selfie 😜

Just joking, don't know what they charge.
Just weird myself, why not have a AI spiderman or Deadpool where it's not actually a real person?

Maybe that would be more fun and be part of the spirit with a convention.

I agree. I think an AI character would be more apt to make a kid buy a comic book, not Stan Lee. To a kid, he's just a grizzled old man.

@DrWatson that was another thought I had. If they were doing AI of Stan Lee why wouldn't they go with a more younger look? Depicting him as a fragil old man is not doing him any good, I think.

I want to see it develop self awareness.

Like the Doctor on Star Trek Voyager.

in the future....to avoid confusion....we should maybe mark holograms in some way....maybe an "H" on their forehead..Red Dwarf style??
