It pays to know someone who knows someone. A high school friend of mine who lives in Maine tries to come down every year or two when the Maine Black Bears play the Providence College Friars in hockey. So this year we somehow finagled getting a private box seat room for the event. PC beat up Maine with a 6-1 win and the private room was amazing. Here are some pics.      |

| @Rbolton - When I was a legal-to-drink 18-year old, many decades ago, Narragansett was a decent, locally produced beer. I still fondly remember pounding down cold ‘Gansett 7-ounce beers in those tall, skinny bottles during the dog days of summers long past. When the local brewery in Cranston closed in the early 1980’s and the beer was being made in Fort Wayne, Indiana it lost its appeal (and taste). I don’t even know where it is made now, or who even owns it. The beer with the face is a specialty beer produced for Providence College and has the Friar mascot on it. I didn’t try it (my focus was on the Sam Adams and Guinness), but my friend from Maine said it was pretty good, and he worked for the Shipyard Brewing Company for about 27 years. clickable text |

@esaravo that is awesome, the beers from my youth were PBR and highlife lol, A good friend of mine used to always bring me Pearl beer when they visited from Texas(he knew I was a big Lonewolf Mcquade fan) I remembered seeing the Gansett can from Jaws, you know if Quint drank it, it has to be good! . |

| The potato chips are good, but they just taste like cheese potato chips. I can't taste the bacon. The burger was really good. I put ketchup, mayonnaise, and pickles on it. I have three more. Picked a four pack up from the grocery store for about $6. They were in the buy or die section. |
