The Marvel Presents would be nice if it was a true 9.4 and not a possible Chiquita slab.

@Studley_Dudley Agreed! and its the 1st Bloodstone which is cool but couldn't risk it...CGC were told to "get bent" so many times they took it literal.

Did you see the new issue with slabs from the cgc? Some of them are bulging.

@DrWatson - As long as their bank accounts keep bulging too, they won’t acknowledge anything is wrong. Perhaps they will quietly make some more changes (that will likely result in other problems) to their slabs. Can’t wait to see what that next problem is.

CGC is the corporate equivalent to John Gotti....nothing sticks......until one day, maybe something will.

You're right!

I saw your post in the new to your collection thread with the Dr. Strange. I should have paid closer attention. That book is a reholder. A cert number that low shouldn't have the current label. I hope it doesn't have a banana bend. Given that it is thicker, you might have dodged a bullet.

Blackstone will kill the cgc. It's the nature of the beast and only a matter of time.

One has to be a detective with a minor in Genealogy these days to avoid buying banana books!!! Good heavens!!!!

Yeah, it's tricky. Best to avoid any label where the page quality is below the number grade.

Thats actually a great and easy clue to use, thanks!! I was using the sonic seal visual to determine a banana book or not. I figured if the seal intersect perpendicular then im good....not the case I guess.
