| Ok, so, I wanted to wait to post this until I had it in-hand but I’m a little too excited about it. As a big fan of the John Carpenter movie ‘They Live’ (1988), I’ve wanted a high grade slab of ‘Alien Encounters’ #6 for a long time. It contains the short story “Nada” that inspired the film*. The other night, my wife asked to watch it, since she had never seen the movie. I gladly obliged. And this made me search again for a high grade copy of the book. I found one! Not in the condition I’d prefer, but there’s a reason I pulled the trigger!   *The original short story, “Eight O'Clock in the Morning", was originally published in the November 1963 pulp, “Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction”. But Carpanter was inspired by the comic version. |

| Threw my hat into the ring & made an offer on a beater lot, knowing there was a rat chewed TOS 52 in the mix. Damage to the TOS 52 was far worse than I had imagined. However, I didn’t know there were two copies! Still .5 incomplete, but for what I paid, I can’t complain.   |
