New To Your Collection #1921918

We should have the forum rate our packages. HeinzDad private msg quote post Address this user
Not a comic but I have to get in with the “in” crowd.

We picked up a vaseline glass funeral vase. It’s supposedly Mosser but the verdict on that is out for me right now. Not that it matters.

That's awesome. I love that stuff. I've always been a sucker for things that glow, even if only under a black light. I can't tell you how many crappy action figures I've bought over the years just because they glowed in the dark.

@GAC Love those Gold Key/Western Printing Co. books. I only have about 13 of them. The painted covers are the best.

I stopped by the lcs today, found two copies of X-Men #184 for $2.99, thought it was a steal and didn't have a copy yet, so I decided not to get greedy and randomly took one copy and left the other for another lucky collector looking through back issues.

Moments ago I said to myself, hey I should look through my purchase, maybe I'll get lucky with a signature or my first mark jewelers.

I wasn't expecting this!

Edit: The rest of the dreck

Not yet in my hands...but recently won!!!

First saw one of these when I was like 8 or 9 - in the back of my mind I've wanted one since then...

Why Iron Man 9.0??? well....a tad bit of OCD -9.0 to complete the 'collection'

Need the above to complete the set!!

Picked these up today at a lcs that I don't work at. Fun books that I like and this is why I never do eBay.

Ist appearance of Doom Patrol. Not the best condition but only $175

1st appearance of the Brotherhood of Evil, start of Doom Patrol title. Nice condition so $50

I use to have this book so been looking for another copy, prices at shops and cons range from $75-$125

My copy $25

A weird book but for only $10 throw it on the pile.

Early low grade reader of Brave and the Bold $25 so why not.

Another fun book for $10 so why not.

They're the base prices before sales tax is added.

I just love collecting fun cheap stuff especially the Doom Patrols as I enjoyed watching the TV series.

Normally, I’d wait to post about a book until I have it in-hand, but I’ve wanted one of these for many, many years.

Low grade is best, because I can put it on display and not worry about fading. I still want to score a mid-grade (or better) copy for my personal collection eventually.

Finally found an affordable copy of this comic book. Before I started searching, I assumed X-Men #67—a reprint—would be cheaper than X-Men #66, the last issue with an original story before the reprints began.I was wrong, hence the lower grade comic.

Well, I'm about 3 weeks late in posting the other books that I have added recently. Life happens, right?

Real happy to have these next two. Nice high grade non-banana copies of these. I bought them at a very fair price to fill two holes in my "War That Time Forgot" collection.

These next two, I'm happy to have but, unfortunately, they are both bananas. I even asked the seller about the "Swamp Thing" and he said that the book did not appear to be one. It is. Still, it was an auction win and the price was right on it, so I'm okay with it.

I couldn’t pass these up!

CGC says multiple staples detached from front cover. No mention of the back cover?

I love Galactus covers & signed by Sam De LA Rosa

Signed by 3 legends & Janet Jackson
Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty (not really that Janet Jackson)

Signed by Chaykin & Thomas

Very early work from Neal Adams. Just 1 panel. How cool is that.

Signed by Neal Adams

Beautiful and signed by the King!

This last one is signed by the King also!

Not to me. I froze when I saw them and thought I need those, then I thought why are they here, what’s wrong with them? 😆

A bit difficult to find at a good price due it being the last issue of the original Marvel print run and it had a low print run to boot.

Haha. If I get one, I'm filling it with milk and count chocula cereal when I use it for the first time.
