I’ve eaten at Carlos O’Briens and Delia’s grinders, I don’t remember seeing the last one. I went to Delia’s grinders right before the pandemic. Not sure if it’s still there.

I lived in Sunnymead (Moreno Valley) back in the 80’s. Bull ‘n’ Mouth was a bar where I met my wife lol!

@southerncross Are you planning to play the Marvel game?

I use to own the basic set in high school and it was this game that got me into buying comics regularly, that was in 1987.

I never owned the advanced set and never any of the gaming modules, it'll be fun reading them.

@DWeeB1967 I'm happy picking the stuff up off Grumpy old man's comics.

The comics were roughly $35 and I was given the marvel superhero role playing boxes and games for free.. can't beat those prices!!

This one doesn't really fit into the original Action Figure Variant Cover run, but I wanted it. JTC should have released it as a JTC exclusive for issue #75 to compliment the Han Solo one for issue #74. I never understood why this action figure, along with a similar Han Solo figure, wasn't produced for the original 1977 toy line.

Was lucky and bought this day of release...excited that it came back a 9.8!

This KOTOR #1 was a dollar bin find and seems to be the only newsstand copy on CBCS' population report. It also has this SWEET first NYCC ad on the back (I remember attending as a teenager)

For some reason, I had listed this Transformers #1 in multiple places as being Cover A, but I guess I was mistaken. Weird.

This Star Wars #1 was a Secret Santa gift I got in the mid-2000s from the View Askew message board. It was in my childhood bedroom at my parents' house, exposed for two decades before I bagged and boarded it. I apologize to any future wife I may have; this will be on my wall until the day I die.

This World of Warcraft con exclusive was allegedly an SDCC exclusive and is the first appearance of the game in a comic. This was a dollar bin find in a warehouse that buys from estate sales etc..

Unfortunately, there is this crease on the back that I guess CBCS pressing couldn't get flattened

I am somewhat surprised that the labels don't list writers.. and on Star Wars #1 no cover artist. Interesting. I wonder what decides that?

It's a reprint. Reprints don't get any label love.

How is Hulk 377 a reprint?

Original Story: The original issue features the conclusion of the "Professor Hulk" storyline, where the psychic amalgamation of Bruce Banner, the original Hulk, and the Grey Hulk is depicted. The story's title is "Honey I Shrunk the Hulk".

January 1991 Reprint: This is the most prominent reprint and a very sought-after comic. It features new cover art with a gamma explosion and was released alongside issue #425.

1994 Third Print: This version is less common and has garnered attention from collectors for its specific details, such as the cover art, price, and copyright date.

Other Reprints: The issue has been included in various trade paperbacks and collections, including The Incredible Hulk: Beauty and the Behemoth TPB Vol 1, Hulk Visionaries: Peter David Vol 1, and others.
Other Editions: There is also a black-and-white edition printed in Finland around 1995, which is considered particularly rare by some collectors.
