Oh. We doing face reveals?
I finally finished my Leatherface costume. Added the blood on the slaughterhouse apron and mask.

Glad to have Neil Adams signed book. He’s a real icon in the industry. I will assume it’s real because it looks real and the COA is from his old comic book store.

I might have a little more faith in that COA if they had spelled Burbank correctly.

It's a comic book not the constitution.

LOL. I blame the printing company. I still trust it, it's got Neal Adams' son's signature.

I'm sure they'd send you a corrected copy if you asked.

Edit: Or maybe not, they closed shop sometime in 24/25.

Looks great! Out of curiousity, what do you use to clean slabs? I have several that I need to give a once over, but I'm wary of what products to use. Appreciate any input.

I have used Novus plastic polish #1, Windex, and WD40. Just spray it on a cloth or paper towel as opposed to directly on the slab.

This one winged its way from the Great White North of Whitby, Ontario, Canada to the Sunny South. This is one the books I had as a kid. So, this was purely a purchase of nostalgia.

You could have taken it out of the bag.

Do you use all 3 or any one of the three is fine?

These are the tools of my trade.

Meguiars purchased on Amazon.
Rubbing alcohol
microfiber chamois
cotton swabs

I generously douse the sticker area with rubbing alcohol and let soak for 15 minutes or as needed.

Gently scrape with a plastic edge (no metal edge or if you must, be very careful and gentle).

***ensure the slab is free of sticker glue or gum***

A quick wipe of the entire front and back using the microfiber chamois with rubbing alcohol. Let fully dry.

Apply Meguires somewhat generously (with the microfiber chamois)...rapid wiping. The rapid friction is what gets the scratches out and the shine to appear.

An old credit card is perfect for this.

I use the Windex first and then follow up with the Novus. The WD40 is for adhesive residue. It works a treat and almost instantly.

Great suggestion! I use a junior school plastic ruler but a credit card would be better for sure.

Do you find the WD-40 oily at all or is no issue at all when cleaning it off?

Hopefully when no couples are currently trying to have a romantic candle light bath together...

If wax is the only thing he's scraping off the tub, its a win.
