These pictures are great, thank you for posting them. Do you remember who had the two copies of Marvel comics 1 for sale and how much?

Awesome pics. How in the world does someone have Avengers 4 in a 9.8!?!?

@OGJackster yeah, I think a lot of times the pricing seems a bit…aspirational but they sellers do seem open to negotiating.

It is definitely awesome being in the presence of so many awesome books. That had to have been an Action Comics reprint, right? 😳

In the solid case, probably comicconnect. I just haven’t seen them advertised. It’s the only one with two copies or any copies of Marvel Comics 1.

Thank you!

@KYDU Ahh, I wanna say that’s Metropolis Comics

Metro owns a lot of the big books in their cases.

I think there was one Action 1 that was auctioned on Comic Connect with Metro being the winner. I always thought that was a conflict of interest.

Any way, back on topic, it was nice to see Dale Roberts booth.

I don't believe this....and I know you don't care that I don't believe this. GAC private msg quote post Address this user
I think Metroplois comics owns (owned) 2 copies of AC 1.

It must cost a fortune to set up a table at the SDCC.

I think that's the same as comic connect just their auction side, same owners. I found one of them, I need one missing pages, back cover missing, holes in it etc..

Thanks!!! Great photos.

@Rafel Unfortunately I got swamped with some emergency expenses last week so I had to really curb my soending at the show.

This is an artist proof of the reprint of the Shi/Daredevil crossover, signed by Billy Tucci

I got two copies of the Witchblade facsimile. One from Image and another from the Top Cow Booth.

This copy of the Jennifer Blood omnibus was half off and I got it signed by Tim Bradstreet. He has some of the original cover art for sale. As long as I don’t get hit with another emergency, maybe I’ll buy one next year

I also got Bradstreet’s signature on an old Battletech book. This was apparently one of his first professional jobs at like 19 years old

This next couple of books I got just before the show. This Mateix I just got back from a signing

And this lower grade Nyx 3 I bought to send in for another
