I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user

Very sad by this news. He was one of, if not my favorite music star. His Diary of a Madman and Blizzard of Oz albums were 2 of my favorite albums of all time.

I camped out for his Diary of a Madman tour in the freezing cold for my 4th row seats.
Got to see Randy Rhoads play before he died.
Crazy, but that's how it goes...

Really sorry to read this but I know he had been struggling with Parkinson's for some time now.

I guess he was only meant to last until Black Sabbath was done. Weird how that works sometimes.

RIP.

In my top three favorite musicians, not unexpected with what he was dealing with, but very sad nonetheless. @BrianGreensnips I could not agree more about the Diary of a Madman album, it’s nothing short of genius.

I always think of that time he bit the head off a Bat. A crazy, unique, wonderful man. You will be missed.

We sail through endless skies
Stars shine like eyes
The black night sighs

The moon in silver dreams
Pours down in beams
Light of the night

The earth, a purple blaze
Of sapphire haze
In orbit always

While down below the trees
Bathed in cool breeze

Silver starlight
Breaks dawn from night

And so, we pass on by
The crimson eye
Of great god Mars
As we travel the universe

Rest well you crazy madman, the journey would not have been the same without you!

WOW, we were at the same concert in '78 with Van Halen opening for Sabbath; I was with my younger brother at that performance and it's the only concert I was lucky enough to attend with front row center seats! My ears barely recovered, but watching Ozzy and Tony Iommi directly above reacting to supportive fans in the first few rows is still a vivid memory! My one distinct recollection of Van Halen's performance is David Lee Roth smashing a champagne bottle on stage at the end (it definitely wasn't spontaneous, he did the same thing in Oklahoma City a few days before! ...yeah, I know, seeing these two groups twice in a week is absolutely bonkers).

Note: The '78 tour shirt's a bit tighter, but still fit (barely) back when I took this timed daguerrotype, amazingly surviving four decades without falling apart! ...Somewhat less worn than the wearer, I might add!

We were on the deck yesterday at dusk listening to Ozzy music. The bats were flying all around and it was an eerie mood. All Ozzy/Black Sabbath music yesterday and today for me.

So true. This makes it easy but I also had Ozzy on Spotify too.
