Getting Young’s sig on this rounds out the three (Cates, Stegman). This is a fun cover to get signature for.

That will be me tomorrow.

Not sure what advice to give. Hopefully the VIPs don’t come back for a round two. Or they have a better system to handle VIPs.

Get there first, i guess. It’s right around the corner on the left as you enter, just past the CGC booth.

I got there at 10:20 (took 20 min to get in). They offered “tickets” to come back
Later…mine was 12:00 noon. Because of the VIPs the line moved 10 people in 60 minutes. Then another 10 in 30 minutes. Then another 20 30 minutes later.

So 40 people in 2hr. Then it was about that pace. This is all not counting the VIPs, which stalled the line.

I can’t believe someone was in line at 9:30 and took till 1:30. 4 hrs.

So I was regretting taking the ticket at first…but at least I got a few signatures in the hour I was out of line. It’s done now….unless Peter Laird makes a surprise appearance…I’m not going back.

Sunday I’ll be diving in long boxes and snapping pics of wall book prices.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user

Spent most of my time in artist alley so I didn't see most of the celebrities.

On John Romita Jr's line now.

He worked on two of the books that Hailey Atwell signed yesterday.

The other book she signed was Peggy Carter's first appearance.

I had planned to start the day with Kevin Eastman but I had a lit of books for him so they want me to cone back at the end of the day.

He needs to change his quote to "Pacers suck".
Last 2 years have sealed that

I did. They had copies of the book too. But they were not Terrificon exclusives, so I passed. Cool though!

Double header is now in the books.

Went well above and beyond what I thought was already a very generous budget.

Any thoughts about maybe going to Canada Fan Expo no longer make any sense.

I think I have done enough damage until NYCC.

Hope everyone else has a great weekend.

@CapCityComics You better believe it.

I really didn't expect to get so much done.

The sticker shock on the total tab this weekend was all to real.

Plenty of time to recover before NYCC.

I have never actually seen Saturday tickets available for NYCC this year...they were immediately sold out....I am thinking of taking the train in for Sunday

I will be there all four days.

In addition to my four day pass I was able to get a Sat pass for one of my friends.

Stood in line at Terrificon for Walt Simonson with some nice Western Massachusetts folks who are putting on the Western Massachusetts Comic Book Show on Sept. 13: https://www.facebook.com/events/8983904955044294/

Seems like there are a good number of vendors, and a bunch of guests signing as well. I'm thinking of making the trek out if I get time.

@karn9

I tenth on Walt's sketch line Fri and had to line up for two more remarks on Sun.

Walt did the black and white sketch.

@drchaos I forgot to have him sign something on Saturday and went back Sunday (but was transparent and paid since technically it was my second sig). I took a great photo of Walt and Ramos having a conversation in the background whole Louise signed in the foreground.

So Marvel has several panels on Friday and Saturday I’d like to attend that aren’t back to back in the same room.

I don’t recall whether they “clear the room” before letting people standing outside in.

Has anyone in past NYCC’s experienced this , and what did you do (leave the room, stay in the room)?

FRIDAY
Marvel Fanfare with C.B. Cebulski
Friday, October 10th, 2:00 PM, Room 405

MARVEL COMICS: X-Men
Friday, October 10th, 3:30 PM, Room 405

SATURDAY
MARVEL COMICS: Next Big Thing
Saturday, October 11, 3:30 PM, Room 405

Marvel: Comics to Screen
Saturday, October 11th, 5:00 PM, Room 405

Assuming and hour for the panel, that’s about 30 minutes…they cap lines at some.

As of now I’m just going to sit in the back, and leave a little early to get in line outside for the next panel…but I’ll ask them at the door what the protocol is.
