| Guys, sorry I haven’t posted in a while…been really sick and have had to get another immunoglobulin infusion which knocked me on my behind. I’m going to be listing quite a bit over the next few days, but I’ll have to collect on everything claimed because I’m going to be really worried about making rent this month; and it’s due no later than 9/4. I have this on my pantry door (until such time as I can get it properly and professionally framed). There are times I just need to stare at it for a few minutes, reading it to myself then out loud. When you don’t really have any friends or family, and are pretty much alone all the time; it’s fairly easy to forget that in reality, you never are .  |

Everyone, I owe each and all of you a huge apology for just now getting back to you. Roughly 2 months ago, which was when I stopped posting, I started having very bad issues with my left hand which was later determined to be “trigger finger” on both my middle and ring fingers. It got to the point where those fingers were locking up on me and to move them from their position felt like I was trying to break them  . I had literally lost the use of my left hand. Well last week, I had surgery on my hand to free up the tendons in my palm to prevent that from happening anymore. (*THE FOLLOWING VIDEO IS GRAPHIC!!*)https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/1130619627   However, I’m now bruised from the front side of my palm, to the back side of my palm, and basically feel like I’m constantly grabbing long needle cactus plants right where they cut me open 🫣  .   I will have to keep bandages on it for 2 weeks straight (which you never realize how many things you depend on *2* hands for until you only have one!). I have been so reluctant to handle anyone’s books as I have been dropping things left and right. 🤦🏻♀️  . I’ve been petrified that I would damage something. But as soon as I get the bandages off and the use of my hand back, I’ll be able to start packing up books. I do have an update on my back, and it’s not good…it’s not good at all. I had new images taken, and these were the results:   I started crying when I saw them. As you can see, my spine has collapsed much worse both sideways and forwards in just the past 2-3 years since my last imaging was taken. What’s worse, I’ve now been told that at best, I have perhaps another 7-8 years before I won’t be able to walk anymore (that’s assuming that the catastrophic heart failure side of Emery-Driefuss Muscular Dystrophy doesn’t get me first…and is it so wrong to kinda be rooting for that outcome?). Guys, every day I lose a little bit more will to keep going. I’m sorry, I really did just want to let everyone know what had been going on. But on a brighter note…I’ve set aside a bunch more books and slabs to sell if anyone is interested. Lord knows I won’t be needing them  . |
