Its fantastic. Doesn't take itself too seriously, but incredibly well done. Krypto steals the show

My wife and I liked it and she's not generally a comic movie person. I wouldn't go so far as @GIJFan123 and call it fantastic but we did like it.

And as @GIJFan123 said, Krypto steals the show.

My family and I really enjoyed it. Fun, entertaining and I definitely consider it the second best Superman movie (can't beat Reeve).

Also, Terrific and Guy stole the show.

Yes, I enjoyed it. It is much different from Man of Steele (2012)
This is a James Gunn product, with that said - the movie is a big, colorful, splashy entertaining and fun. It has some good comedy and is fast paced. Overall, good depiction of what a comic book movie can be.

Really, I liked the way all the characters were depicted, even Lex Luthor, and I generally find him kind of one-dimensional. I could have done without Hawkgirl since she just flies around bashing stuff, but that's more of an issue I have with the character and not so much the way she was portrayed in the movie.

Guy was Guy (and that's a good thing). Mr. Terrific, Krypto, Lois Lane and Supes were all played well. Even Jimmy Olsen was entertaining and had an impact on the story.

Like @CWill2021 said, it's much different than Zack Snyder's take on the characters (and I seem to be one of the few who really liked "Man of Steel" ). Much lighter, much more fun, it's a good watch.

One more thing... this movie also doesn't waste time with origin stories. You enter the movie with Superman and the others already established. The heroes are already heroes, Luthor already hates Supes, etc. That makes for a more watchable movie, IMO.

Without spoilers. Krypto annoyed me. The way the villain fights superman is laughable. Many Wasted opportunities. Hawkgirl was terrible always squawking got annoying and guy Gardner barely had screen time I feel like I needed more of him but was average. Mr.Terrific was the shinning star for me. Gave him enough shine to show you his abilities and individuality something I wish Guy Gardner had more of. The feel is not dark and moody at all which is a good thing specially for a Superman flick. I gave it a 6/10 wouldn't watch it again but I dont think its a terrible movie and can see how some folks love it.

I saw Previews and from what everyone says it looks like the job Gunn did in Sucied Sqaud #2.

I enjoyed it and thought it was worth my time and money. Pretty much agree with most of what has already been said. I thought Mr. Terrific was awesome, Guy Gardner looked cool, and I am not sure what Hawkgirl brought to the Justice Gang. Krypto is definitely there for comedic relief and to steal scenes, but I thought he had a little too much screen time. I’ll watch it again when it reaches streaming.

I went in already a little critical of James Gunn's distinctive touch on his movies already being a little annoying when overboard, though he makes overall enjoyable movies. This movie was a lot of fun, great overall. Luthor certainly has been given dimensions to his evilness, and Nicolas Hoult ran with it wonderfully.

I may be slightly biased in that I'm a huge JSA fan, moreso than the Justice League, so I was already stoked to see Mr. Terrific. He stole the show for me, giving us just enough of his different characteristics to make you want to see much more hopefully soon. Guy Gardner was great, and will only get better the more he plays against other character types throughout the DCU.

Superman was great! Krypto was fun. Lois and Jimmy were good, and the rest of the Daily Planet characters only got enough screen time to perhaps launch from this into a more involved show with them. I imagine James Gunn's time with Troma forces a creator to become very efficient, which allows him to handle all the spinning plates he likes to toss into his projects. Great film, looking forward to more from the DCU.
