Hi everyone, Does anyone have a way to actually talk to a human at CBCS? I sent in 4 books last December, 2 for grading and 2 with autograph grading. It still shows the order is processing. I have contacted support in May and again 2 weeks ago. The answer I get is "Let me find out for you" and I never hear back. Any ideas are most welcome. I don't want to be a jerk, I just want to know what is going on. At this point I believe they "lost" the comics or I would have had an answer. THX |

Six months isn't all that INSANE for grading depending on services requested and current turn around times. Remember when it took a YEAR, or more, to get anything graded? I do. Lately, even with everything going smoothly, it has taken CBCS three to four months to process one of my submissions. Sounds like there is more going on than just grading. Hopefully, the OP means signature verification, because I'm not sure what autograph grading is and CBCS doesn't offer that service. If everything is on the same invoice, then everything moves at the slowest tier or service. They could be a whole host of reasons why the order hasn't been completed. More often than not, it's a payment snafu as opposed to "lost" books. Hopefully, the OP can get in touch with Cody and get everything straightened out. Now, what's really INSANE is that postal rates are rising again on July 13th to where the price of a first class stamp increases from 73¢ to 78¢. Once the price surpasses the "convenience fee," I'll never mail another payment again. |

I just submitted a vintage "priority," which is supposed to be 15 days. CBCS turned it in 3 business days. The downside is the grading was a bit harsh IMO. Not to the point of unfair, but everything graded on the very low end of what I considered the range of possibility. |

Definitely not my 1st or 2nd submission. I just emailed Cody, so hopefully I'll find out what's up.

If Cody is at a show, it might take a few days.
