 Free books. We went to two shops.  Purchases. Chuck Brown was a guest at one of our local shops, so I got the Bitter Root omnibus from him (and had him sign it). That shop also had a 50 percent off sale on back issues and trades, where I got everything except the blanks. I also won a $100 gift certificate. I got the blank covers at the second stop for six bucks each. Shop number two has a big selection of Transformers, so we went there for the 8-year-old to pick one out. |
