Anybody into jigsaw puzzles?21644

I'll probably wake up constipated. Pre_Coder private msg quote post Address this user
Hi everyone! I've been semi-bedridden/chair ridden the past few weeks due to a sciatica injury 21 years ago. Sometimes I might make a stupid move to reactivate, and there are times it seems to cycle every 18-24 months simply to say "hi". The first 2 days is usually tramadol and tequila, afterwards I just work it out and ride it out.

Anyway, the past few weeks has reignited my interest in jigsaw puzzles. I do prefer the old fashion physical pieces though. Here are some I've done so far....

ps,.. the reason I leave the last piece out on the completion is because I receive stupid (winner) music and the image no longer appears as a puzzle.

I like them. My wife and I used to do them when we just got married. That was over 40 years ago. I do have a couple I would like to try. Never seems to be time.

Awesome. I work lots of puzzles, started during Covid and I'm over 400 since then but vast majority are 1000 piece puzzles. These look like 300 pieces each?

Where do you get them? I have a hard time finding comic themed puzzles or that's all I would work.

Pre_Coder, I had to read your initial post again and it seems you are doing these online? I wouldn't mind trying that out. Sorry to hear about your sciatica, I've had that flare up before too and it's NO FUN.

Aha! Now I know where at least 1 piece goes.

I'd ask you for the link to these, but I can't afford the time to feed another addiction.

@PhilCoulson Mine are 300 piece which is the most difficult jigsaw planet will allow me. Your puzzles are awsome but I can tell by the piece count I would probably be recovered before I finished any one of yours.

I simply choose a favorite comic cover, open in ms paint, crop and tweak it,.. then upload to the sight. I never thought about searching for comic themed puzzles. I'll check that out.

I do puzzles on my phone with a app that has the hardest setting of pieces. Trouble is it's hard on my phone to do. Probably easier playing the app on a tablet.

I don't remember but one like this might take 10-14 hours depending on what I'm also doing while working one. Watching TV slows me down pretty good.

I check Target and Walmart once in a while and run across comic themed puzzles but like I said before I like to work 1000 pieces puzzles. If you prefer 500 pieces they are more common for some reason with comic themes.

This isn't the most challenging puzzle, but it is Mike Royer's first hired work on a super-hero character. I guess he doesn't consider Magnus to be a "super"-hero, since he isn't really costumed, and of course Flash Gordon and Tarzan aren't "super."

Thank you! The past week I've been walking 10 blocks each day. The first 4 days I would stop every block and sit a few minutes to ease the pressure. The past 3 days I made the walk with no stops and pain was minimal.
