The CBCS crew will be conducting our second On-Site Grading event of 2017. This time, we are traveling to the Windy City April 20th -23rd to offer our comic book grading services during the C2E2 weekend. CBCS will be extending On-Site Grading services as well as accepting regular submissions at the REGGIES Chicago restaurant, 2105 S State Street, starting Thursday, April 20th. We could not be more excited to offer this popular venue for our customers to drop off their grading submissions, but that is not all. CBCS will also be hosting legendary comic book creator ROY THOMAS for the whole event. Fans can have Roy sign comics as well as attend a question and answer dinner Saturday, April 22nd. Also, in order to make this unusual circumstance as convenient as possible for our customers, we will be listing the names and convention floor locations of the vendors who have volunteered to accept submissions on our behalf during the convention. Of course, CBCS is disappointed that we are not allowed to set up within the Reed Pop convention as that would have been more convenient for our customers to submit books. Unfortunately, the exclusive agreement between CGC and Reed Pop prevents that convenience. The good news is that CBCS refuses to allow hurdles to keep us from providing services to our valued customers. We believe that collectors deserve the right to choose the grading company of their choice. We trust that when collectors are given an option within the industry, they will choose the company that provides the best Customer Service, Product, Quality, and Turnaround Times. CBCS will continue to strive to be that company. |

You'll have to set it up through a signature witness. You can find witnesses who can help you at the official CBCS signature witness page... https://www.facebook.com/groups/315360812169321/ |

@SteveRicketts... Just so I'm getting this right; books do not have to be dropped off in person to the address listed above to receive onsite grading, but can be dropped off to representatives that will be on the show floor, and THEY in turn will submit for on-site grading/encapsulation? Is there a guarantee that if a book is submitted to a rep, say, very early Friday morning (1st day of the show) that it will be ready by the close of the show? Also, what's the pricing structure for "on-site" grading? Thanks in advance. |

Books do not have to be dropped off at Reggies. You can drop them off at specific dealers who are collecting books for us. If you submit books very early Friday, you're pretty much guaranteed to have them by the end of the show. Pricing can be found here... https://cbcscomics.com/onsite |

Steve, What are the hours to drop off books at Reggies? Also, will raw grading be available? If so, what is the price? |
