Timeline using ComicLink Auctions21616

Collector JC600 private msg quote post Address this user
I simply wanted to share a timeline for my experience with ComicLink auctions. Basically the process was really simple. After my account was created I reached out to them for an address where I should ship 16 of my graded comics that I wanted to auction off. They asked me to provide them with the list of the 16 books, and they returned an email with the shipping address. This was in December, at that time I had no idea when their next auctions were going to be held as I was buried with work and barely had time to visit their site for any information. Thankfully every time I sent an email to them I received instant responses from them throughout the process. I shipped the 16 books in December.

Then in January I received an email that my 16 books were going to be added across several auctions. On January 10th I was able to view each of my books and what auction they were going to be added to. Basically the auctions were divided into different sessions and my books appeared in 6 different sessions that finished on Jan 24th - Feb 8th. For my first auction with them I sent in random books, several magazine size, and only one of them was a 9.8 grade while others were as low as 5.5, 6.5, 7.5 grades. Again, this was my first auction with them so I wanted to see multiple cases with different grades.

As the first auction/session ended (which only 4 of my 16 were in) I received an email that displayed exactly what each of the 4 books sold for. Then, going forward I received another email every day that another session ended thru Feb 8th for one or more of my books similar to what is seen below:

Then I waited about a month (March 7th) to receive an email with any information about my payment for the books that sold during their auction sessions. Since my last book sold Feb 8th I sent them an email on Friday March 7th to find out when I would receive payment. Well, as always, they responded right away and my payment will be mailed to the address they have on file for me this Friday 3/14/2025 as seen below:

I'd like to say I still turned out alright, but that would be a lie. flanders private msg quote post Address this user
I've always gotten good customer service from comiclink, I hope you're happy with them.

It looks like you've got quite a few books that sold well below cost. I hope you get better going forward on determing what books to slab. A lot of times the vintage tier, with it's higher cost, isn't worth it and you'd have a higher ROI sellling your books raw.
