Fedex+Family Emergency SNAFU (Shipping/Timing Issue)21545

| So I'm currently in Taiwan due to a back to back family emergency and my last submission shipped the day after I left. Sent an email to CBCS four days ago before I got the Fedex email asking if it was possible to hold it, but I got nothing back and I'm assuming it was already on the truck anyway. Called Fedex, asked them to hold it, they said they could do the five day thing held at a local Fedex spot but to do a vacation hold for a couple weeks I'd need to contact CBCS. The package has already arrived at a local pickup spot and the five day timer is ticking, what happens if I don't get to it in time (definitely won't be home for another week and a half at least) and how do I quickly get in contact with someone at CBCS here for the vacation hold change Fedex was talking about? If all goes wrong and it gets returned to CBCS, what happens then? Thanks and sorry if the post sounds a little all over the place, I'm on five hours of sleep across two days here. |

| I do the 5-day Fed Ex hold thing at a Walgreens that is a half mile from my house so packages aren't left on my door and it's easy to get by there. Not sure who is holding your package, but my Walgreens said they don't really send them back after 5 days. It's often much longer. I was also thinking you could call the location that's holding it, if it's not a Fed-Ex location, and explain your situation and ask for an extended hold. | ||
