| I think it just new artists are trying to copy Mark Spears Kickstarter success but can't come up with something original to sell. Suckers like me, would buy up an entire Spears lot without even blinking. I did jump on both Spears Kickstarters and the Pre-Code Golden Age horror facsimiles but had to stop at the heavy metal bc I was just spending too much. Besides I have alot of the original Heavy Metal Magazines so it's not like out of reach compared to original pre-code golden age horror. | ||

| Spears said his inspiration is Basil Gogos, but I can see his color pallette is similar to LB Cole. Spears makes clay statues so he can get the right depth before he begins his covers, that's some dedication. | ||
