Anyone trying to grab anything?

Here is CovrPrice's list: https://covrprice.com/descriptor-list/?view=megacon-2025

There are more being added all the time

Here's my personal favorite, though it might be hard to get at this point - Jonboy Meyers

I looked through all of them. I've grown tired of the current comic artwork. It all seems the same over the last ten years. Too much digital work of a single character that's zoomed in on. Sorry to sound like a Megacurmudgeon.

That’s what they call me at work.

There are some pretty terrible covers on that list. A few nice ones but yeah they mostly stink. Digital art is the pits. As someone who collects OA and really in love with water colors - digi art is my enemy.

I just got back from Megacon and there weren't any exclusives that I thought were worth picking up. Very meh.

I was at Mega-Con last night for 4 hours.
Waaaaay too many new comic variant covers. Glad I don't chase that crap.

CBCS was not at the show this year. So submitting witnessed signings went through Clan McDonald.
Clearly they took advantage of this situation.

Thanks a lot CBCS.
Whoever dropped the ball and didn't book a booth in time, cost submitters double the grading fees....
cgc had to be shaking their heads laughing at that.

On a positive note, I got to visit with Alex Saviuk again and get some books signed.

And of course I hung out with my fellow Florida hippie pal Borock.
He is still on that "loooong strange trip" lol..... We had a good time.
I submitted over 150 books to him that will be in the March 14th Comiclink auction.

You guys know I collect NM books, so if you want a chance at some gems, make sure you mark your calendars for that one. Several (but not all) of Marks books will be there for you.

And a surprise, I got to meet our pal Matt Edwards. Yes he is still around.
Looking forward to working with him again on future ventures.

@Nearmint67 I was at Megacon too. I did not give my money to Clan McDonald. I will be submitting my books a different way.

I also met with Matt. It was great to talk to him at the show. He was a huge asset for CBCS and the repercussions for him not working at CBCS was obviously felt. CBCS never missed a major show under his watch.

I think this whole con exclusive thing has gotten way out of control. They issue crap for the shows and only the flippers seem to be buying them. Occasionally you might see a decent cover but most are reprints of older books or overpriced.

My next big show will be HeroesCon. Hopefully CBCS will decide to show up! If not, I might try giving PSA with their ugly cases a shot. It's better to have a big company who cares than one that just goes through the motions and expects their old customers to keep coming back.

@Nearmint67 @flanders it does seem like there is an influx of books soely for the cover....reprinted again and again and again over and over with different variants. I have to wonder what the interiors are for these books. There are new public domain works every year to adapt...

Other than those, there is a Batman Hush 2 Ashcan exclusive that DC was giving away free with purchase -
