WD 27 and ASM300 did very well. WD finished top end of CGC past sales 👍🏻

However, the $20 books arent doing so well... looks like most wont even sell unless there are a lot of snipers waiting

Many of those books were not even worth the $20 starting price.

Only 19 of 75 still going are selling. I think the experiment is what the raw grade brings for value on a $10-15 book. Experiment failing on the low end so far

Has anyone checked to see if CBCS fixed the shipping prices on Raw Grade?

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user

When we see our friend Mr. No bid it usually means the starting price was way too high.

Completed listings under "CBCS Raw Grade" search are linked above.

What experiment would that be?

The experiment to see if a $5-$15 book is magically worth $20 + shipping if it's been third party graded?

Yeah, that is not new information.

Approximately half of the 75 completed listings are books that I would file into my $3, $5 and $10 convention boxes.

Come and see me at the Big Apple Con , introduce yourself & mention this thread.Any CBCS or CGC boardie.

Then take any book out of my $5 boxes, on me.

Hell, repeat the following phrase after you introduce yourself:

" IT'S A FULL BLOWN C.A.K. ATTACK " ....
and I'll let you take one of my $10 books in return.

Moving on:

The sales of the better books/minor keys and bronze/copper keys that eere not in 9.8, worth around $30-$250 in GPA, were all sold around GPA.

I will add that JUST BECAUSE the CBCS label on a Raw Grade book notates that no restoration check has been done, that simply means that no thorough resto check with equipment has been performed.

Anyone who is a competent grader is going to SEE color touch and/ or a tear seal on a front cover, wether it is pro or ama CT, simply be looking over a book in ideal lighting conditions.

99% of pro/ama resto work on any attempts at trying to take advantage of the no resto check will be spotted, without a resto check being performed on Raw Grade books.....because pro work is not worth paying for on books worth $225 tops.

Nobody is paying Susan Cicconi $50 per hour to restore an ASM 300 to a 9.2.

You are not going to find anyone off a Facebook comic group that has the level of skill needed to restore books, that will work nearly cheap enough, to restore a book to the point where a restoration check with equipment is needed.

That is a large reason why the FMV of Raw Grade books is capped at $225 (or $250, can't remember offhand).
