Superb copy with a date stamp. Not noted in the OPG, but with Krogarr's coloring and skin texture, he could be a Thing prototype.

Alas I only have a few more of these. Picked this one (another filler copy) up at a local con a few years back.

filler issues are fine.
I have been trying to get a complete run if TTA.
I prefer to get raw copies so I can read them before I slab
prefer VG or higher. but there are not a lot of copies to choose from

TTA25 and FF1 came out the same month, so it can't really be classified as a prototype

But you are right that they used a lot of orange ink that month if you include ST90 (the Orrgo issue also has an orange lumpy monster) and JIM74 (slightly browner lumpy monster).

It's bad enough when monsters are dropping out of the sky, coming out of your TV set, climbing out of the mountains, crawling out of the sea, chasing you down the street, or even coming out of the ground at you, but when they chase you into the sewer, there is nowhere left to hide.

Yet another orange lumpy monster terrorizing humanity:

This takes us to exactly 50% of the PHM issues (82/164) - keep 'em coming!

Not sure about others, but this is the one book I keep saying I'll get next since its just reprints (and that was 5 years ago).

Real sharp copy!

Did anybody post Journey Into Mystery #71 yet? This one wound up getting slabbed; I finally have a reader en route.

Those pre-hero western crossovers are more than welcome !

I just became aware of them a few years ago and have added them to my want list.

The only three I am aware of are:

Rawhide Kid 22
Rawhide Kid 39
Two Gun Kid 68

Am I missing any ?

Off the top of my head Kid Colt Outlaw #100, #102 and #107. Here's a few; don't have a scan handy of the other.

@Dick_Pontoon - Thanks for sharing but now I have 6 more books on the want list!!

Please tell me there aren't any pre-hero Romance cross-overs floating around so I'm not out looking for a "Millie Dates Moomba" issue....

My last pre-hero book, for the time being. I bought this raw on E-Bay in 2009, and sent it in to CBCS last year.

Nice! That's one I need in decent condition. There's certain books that I'm more particular about and this is one of them. Always loved the cover and the story was one of my favorites as a kid.

Thanks, TTA #34 and TTA #23 are my personal favorites of those I own. I was fortunate to locate these copies a few years ago, now they show up fairly frequently, but not in 7.0 or higher very often.
