That's a tremendous copy of TTA #23, I cannot recall seeing one in better shape. Rommbu (TTA #19) is no slouch either, that book rarely if ever shows up on the Bay in better than vg, and normally is worse than good.

I have another gap filler, found at my LCS a while back. I wonder if this book (published April 1959) might have inspired the folks at DC to re-launch an updated GL in Showcase #22(September 1959), given the "guardian of the stars" sounds a bit like the GL Corps being overseen by the "Guardians of the Universe".

One of the rare occasions that DC copied (paid homage?) Marvel in story/cover ... from 1959 to 1962

I originally had this book in LG a few years back, but was able to upgrade earlier this year. Could this be Marvel's follow up to the 1951 movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still"?

Very nice copy of a hard to find book with a classic Kirby cover! Love the sky effect and of course it gets multi-bonus points for men & women in hats

There aren't many collectors who want to have ANY of these books let alone the entire set

Superb copy with a date stamp. Not noted in the OPG, but with Krogarr's coloring and skin texture, he could be a Thing prototype.
