| 2 CBCS slabs for sale in this thread. These are the only CBCS slabs I own; figured the CBCS forum would be as good a place as any to offer them for sale. I deleted some old images on my desktop today as my desktop is running low on memory...while skimmming thru them, I saw that I still had the images for these 2 slabs in my images gallery from back when I had them listed on eBay a few years ago. If you want more pics, just DM me and I'll take a couple. Both slabs are CBCS 9.8's with no chips, cracks or scratches. Rules: To buy a slab(s), just reply to this post and claim it. First claim wins. I'll DM you for your shipping address. Buyer mails me a check or money order for the total due within 10 days. I will ship within 1 business day of getting your shipping address, no need to wait for payment from established boardie on either or both of these slabs. If you haven't been registered on this forum for at least 1 year, or if I don't recognize your account, I'll wait for your payment to arrive and clear my bank before shipping, checks take 1 day to clear my bank. In that event, your slab(s) will ship within 2 days of receipt of payment. Return policy: Returns? Come on, hoss.....These are CBCS 9.8's. That said: Returns accepted within 2 weeks of delivery, as long as the slab(s) is in same condition as it was when I shipped it to the buyer. Buyer would receive a check from me for the sale price of the slab, buyer would absorb original and return shipping. If a slab arrives damaged,buyer would file the insurance claim with USPS and I would assist in said claim, in any way needed. Shipping: US shipping only USPS Ground Advantage Shipping is $10; wether you buy a single slab or both slabs. USPS Priority shipping is $15 flat, wether you buy a single slab or both slabs. Both options will include USPS insurance at the sale price. Payment: Checks or money orders only. MCS has the $110 CGC 9.8 available directly at $90.00....$60 for a CBCS 9.8 sounds pretty dair to me. Cover pencils by Jim Starlin, inks by Al Milgom. There are zero CBCS 9.8 1st prints on eBay, and a sold/completed search yields zero results, as well.....no idea how many 9.8 1st prints are in the CBCS population report, but my guess is not too many. Remember when this was a $500 to $1999 slab in CGC 9.8 when TOT was initially optioned in 2012? ....oh, how ye mighty hath fallen :LOL: Kirkman said in 2018 around the time he signed a deal with Sony for Skybound TV show development that the show was still happening....maybe I should hold onto this slab for another 3 or 4 years when the TV show starts production.  :think:Actually, I own 2 other CBCS slabs....just remembered them while typing up this post.  My Thief Of Thieves #1 9.8 1st print at $50 is  tied for the highest graded by CBCS with only 2 copies in the CBCS Population Report at 9.8; none higher.....not quite a 1 of 1, but close at a 1 of 2. There's probably over a 100 universal 9.8's on the CGC Census..My Deadpool #48 at $60 is 1 of 5 copies graded by CBCS at 9.8. Aaaand ...here's a $10 price cut on the pair: Claim both of these slabs for $110 shipped via USPS Ground Advantage or claim both slabs at $115 shipped USPS Priority Insured . Slabs will be bubble wrapped in the same corrugated cardboard box & insured at $100, either way. No flimsy USPS Priority boxes. You may as well save five bucks with Ground Advantage over Priority. I'll ship both slabs within 1 business day of a claim in this thread & receiving your shipping address via DM. I won't wait for payment to arrive to ship. I'm offering 2 universal CBCS 9.8 slabs at 20% to 45% below FMV for the 2 books in universal CGC 9.8..... thus far, I've received one offer via DM from a boardie on here that is titled "Your sales thread" which reads: "$100 for both, shipped" I replied to that DM offer and countered that offer at the same price for the pair I'm extending now. I know it's only been a day, but aren't CBCS boardies on here always saying CBCS slabs should be worth at least what CGC slabs are worth?   |
