@martymann Hi Marty, so way back when you were first buying comics, were they all sold at newsstands, or were they also available at other places, like a five and dime store? I remember there was a Ben Franklin that sold almost everything but groceries. One of my faves as a kid. |

@martymann That's awesome Marty, you have some of the most unique books in existence. How many books do you still have? I think their should be a Marty's Pedigree for your remaining raw comics. | ||

After reading in the September issue of NostoNews how the prices of HEADLINE COMICS #17 varied between $169.00 for a slabbed 4.5 copy and $240.00 for an unslabbed 4.0 copy I feel this book is totally underrated. Also checked MY COMIC SHOP and they have a slabbed 4.5 copy of #16 for $150.00. Issue #17 contains the first ATOMIC MAN cover. ATOMIC MAN might be the first Atomic Superhero in comic books. The Nov/Dec 1945 #16 issue contains the Origin and First Appearance of ATOMIC MAN and is also I believe an underrated issue. I'm holding onto my issue #16. |

Let me take this opportunity to express my appreciation for all of the kind words offered to me and my collection. I truly enjoy sharing with all of you in the collecting community. As I've often said "Never in a million years when I was selecting a comic book off the newsstand did I even believe that years later I would be sending images of them through the air." Thank you again my friends! Marty |
