| TCM just ran a short feature on Comic Strip artists which has encouraged me to dig out some of my many comic strip reprint comics like TIP-TOP, KING, SPARKLER, SUPER COMICS, BIG SHOT, POPULAR COMICS etc. Not to forget the HARVEY GROUP of L'IL ABNER TERRY & THE PIRATES, STEVE CANYON, JOE PALOKA, KERRY DRAKE... I was always pleased to find these issues on the newsstand so I could see the adventures of all these characters that came before I started following them everyday. Kind of miss them in the daily newspaper. Marty |

| While I'm aware that my collection is not considered a PEDIGREE I'm sure that a portion of the collecting community is aware of its existence. Also, I think I might have the oldest original owner newsstand collection of Golden Age Comics on the boards...if anyone knows of one older I would really like to know about it.
