| Was hoping for the whole John Walker as Cap and Steve as the Cap in a black costume. Really liked that story line as a kid!! I think issue 350 had them facing off on the cover and a center spread with all the "Caps" through the ages...great book!!! |

| I'm low hanging fruit for super hero movies/TV. So I'll go. But honestly it doesn't look real promising to me. Movie has also had "problems". It was budgeted at $275 million but has ballooned to 350 million due to reshoots. The reshoots being necessary because the movie did not do well with test audiences when first completed. And that budget..... I'm repeating something I read by Ryan Reynolds. These huge budgets are not necessarily a good thing as far as making creative and interesting movies. When the budget is 100 million the corporate bigwigs are willing to let the creative people do their thing. When 250+ million, the corporate bigwigs start micromanaging. Let's not take any chances....too much money riding here.... Go with what has worked in the past..... So IDK. Hopefully it will be better than I'm expecting. Essentially has to do a billion bucks at the box office to be an actual financial success. And a February release date - when audiences at movie theaters are typically smaller. Time will tell. |
