Listening to the radio and reading the news on my phone this week, I can’t help but notice how the media is suddenly burying the Detroit Lions after last week’s loss to Buffalo. Suddenly the injuries are just too much to overcome and the Lions are going to lose their grip on the number one seed and likely even the division. A promising season is going to end with a disappointing early exit from the playoffs. I am calling bullshit on this narrative! The injuries have been an ongoing issue for most of the season and the Lions still won eleven straight games. This team is tough and relentless and will continue to find ways to win games no matter who is on the field or who their opponent is. I say the Lions win out, go into the playoffs as the top seed and kick serious ass all the way to the Super Bowl! |
