I have a comic that is signed and certified in a poly bag and I would like to have that graded and encapsulated. The Comic is untouched except by Stan Lee. What is the best method to process this? In the poly bag is the Certificate of Authenticity, Can I keep that with the comic book somehow? |

I don't believe this....and I know you don't care that I don't believe this. | GAC private msg quote post Address this user
Send it in...there's a promo going on right now so good timing. Keep the COA...do not send it in. CBCS won't recognize it as anything authenticated. When you get your slab back, put the COA in the bag with the slab.....and Welcome to the forum!!!! |

Don't send in as is. Remove COA and I recommend press option. The polybag usually leaves an impression on the back Cover so pressing it gets rid of it.

@MeanGene Once a signature has been verified, the COA adds little value other than stating where and when the signing took place. As @GAC mentioned, your slab will be returned to you in a bag. Just sticking the COA in the bag is generally easiest way to handle them. |

If you send it in they'll ignore it and send it back. As stated, get on this and submit your online invoice today to get that verification free. Otherwise it's like $25 or $30. |

So with this comic I have the COA is in the poly bag and the bag is sealed with a Cert seal. Not sure if that makes a difference.

It doesn't make any difference to CBCS, or any other grading company with signature authentication for that matter.
