I'm waiting.... (tapping fingers).
Splotches is gettin old!
Nuffsaid111 private msg quote post Address this user
@GAC incredible that a show, like 70 years later, holds up today as much as it once did.

Not unlike the 3 stooges that's like 85 years later, and still laugh my ass off

I don't believe this....and I know you don't care that I don't believe this. GAC private msg quote post Address this user
@Nuffsaid111 so true! That main cast Gleason, Carney, Meadows and Trixie were stacked with talent...The Flintstones, All in the Family, the Simpsons, Family guy, and I'm sure many more, owe a debt to the Honeymooners.

Hey Norton, address the ball.
Helloooo ball.

Brilliant!!

My brain isn't working. How do I add more than one signature to be verified on the submission form???

Cool! That saved around $100.
Some of these are slabbed. I forgot, do I crack them open or just send them?

Do not crack them. Extra book security for the trip through the mail. CBCS will crack them out at no charge.

Walked back a bit on the 18 books due to the budget. Did 13 instead, most excited for the Detective 404 with Adams and O'Neil.

Sent this one in to avoid any potential banana issues developing:

I know a lot of folks aren't big fans of John Romita, Jr.'s art, but he is one of the nicest guys I've ever met at a convention:

This one is just pure 90s nostalgia for me:

And Ed Brubaker's CA run is still one of my favorite reads:

Because @Ginosdad sent me a sketch cover in the gift exchange, I talked myself into sending a couple more books today. I packed up Captain America #34 (first Bucky Cap) signed by Brubaker and Epting, Ghost Rider #20 (from the 2006 run) signed by Aaron and Friedrich, and the Action Comics #18 from the gift exchange.

I wish I had the cash floating around to send all my signed books in for this sale, it would save me thousands in the long run.

First set I sent was delivered today. The wait begins.

It will be interesting to see what kind of a grades I get. None of these were bad looking books, but it's been a while since I submitted books without pressing.

That's one thing I've never had, a bunch of signed books that weren't already graded. Good luck to all those who've submitted. I'm excited to see what you get back.

@DrWatson Same here, usually when I get books signed, they are getting graded immediately afterwards.
But I had a few that were done at cons either for free or 5.00 each sig. Thought they were going to be raw sales down the line.
This has to entice even hard core cgc folks.
Can't beat this promo with that piece of tree you cut off... lol...

I don't care what company you use, you would be nuts not to take advantage of this promo. But hey, loyalty can make you blind sometimes, so who knows? Maybe some folks didn't want to save $560 in signature verification fees like I did.

I have been getting books signed as long as I have been going to cons, so I have a few books that predate slabbing. I am sure I am not alone.

I just never wanted anything signed until I got old(er). By that time, the cgc were around with their witnessed signatures and it made everything easier... as far as I was concerned.
