@esaravo What @DrWatson said. Like all promotions, I just write the promo code on my invoice and when they receive it, they apply the discounts. |

They shouldn't use a receive date....they should go by postmark date for discount eligibility.

I agree. It causes me all kinds of consternation. Plus, overseas submitters can't get books here in time to take advantage of the discount. |

There's a dozen reasons why a package delivery can get held up, all completely out of the control of the client. I have to believe that CBCS would honor the discount if the postmark date was right but delivered after the cutoff date. I would be severely ticked off if they didn't |

Most reasons stated are logical and make sense, but from a business perspective, wouldn't it be easier to say cutoff is a certain day? Who the hell can read the small print on a package? Yes I am an old fart. Cutting off by day seems infinately more easier on the receiving folks. |

I hope I don't forget anything that's signed. I'm definitely not looking through all my long boxes. That's far too time consuming. Holy shit! I just thought of a bunch of Eastman signed crap I overpaid for that I would've never sent in. Time for some of those last ronin books to go in. It's funny how a large discount can make you excited about slabbing again. Great job CBCS! Do they split magazine and standard submissions for shipping? That could be slightly annoying if they do. |

I'm sure there's a reason why, but a delivered by deadline is frustrating when it's something completely out of your control. What if the postal worker is sick and no one services their route that day? |

You have no control, especially this time of year, of when a package arrives at a business on a Saturday, but cannot be delivered. So it might not get re-delivered until the following Monday or Tuesday. That’s what happened to my last order with CBCS. It was supposed to be delivered to them on a Friday, got held up a day, was undeliverable on Saturday, and didn’t officially get accepted until Monday.

So far it's been about once a month, but it's always a different special. The best one so far for me was BANANA. It was 20% off grading and pressing. |

I've been getting emails and messages about this offer, many wanting clarification. Here's what I know. *There is a limit of 5 free signatures PER BOOK. If you send a book with more than 5 signatures, you will pay for those the same as the prices were on normal books, but the first 5 signatures are still FREE on those books as well. So, a book with 6 signatures would be charged as if there is only 1 signature. *There is no limit to the number of books you can submit. If you submit 100 books, and each of them have 5 signatures, you're just paying regular grading fees. There is no charge for signature verification. @cinnamon This is the first, and probably only time it will ever be offered. As someone on the inside, I'm not telling you what to do, but if you ever want to take advantage of this, don't wait for it to be offered again. This is a HUGE savings on books with multiple signatures. Hell, even books with ONE signature, you're saving $25 on the book. That's more than half off of a Modern tier book. |

@SteveRicketts Unfortunately I can't take advantage of it unless I pay a lot of money to UPS to make sure the books arrive in the US before the 30th, so it's not really worth it for me at the moment.

I have had 15 books with Jamie Tyndall sigs waiting to go out a few at a time. As soon as I saw this last night I packed up all 15 and dropped them off today haha. I had to go back and read it 5 times to make sure I read it correctly. Now I assume you could not do grade pre screen for these because you're having the sigs verified? |
