I've determined that when I go to hell it will just be me in stuck in Walmart while McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime" is playing on a loop as I find myself staring at a computer with my books forever trapped in the "HeatSeal" status.

@CapCityComics Sorry. Ever since I worked in a grocery store during high school, that song has been the bane of my existence.

As for my books, they have finally escaped HeatSeal and were shipped today. Did I look at the grades? You know I did. Very happy, mainly because I had very few expectations. I had one banana book -- Batman #608 that was triple signed and was a 9.8, and it kept the grade. That was the only one I cared about. Big sigh of relief there.

I also had a Detective #404 signed by Adams and O'Neil that graded at 6.5. I was hoping for a 6.0 and even expected a 5.5, so that was awesome. Hopefully will have them in hand by Monday or Tuesday next week, and I'll post pics.

Finally - after close to 4 months of "ImagingSP" it all happened so fast.

Happy with the Batman's and the Image United, but felt the Impractical Jokers and DC Presents were a bit higher than given grade. That's ok - the value is in the autographs with Impractical Jokers.

Books finally shipped! 3 books, Modern/New with pressing.

All signatures verified though grades were slightly lower than I would’ve liked, though one was expected

Very happy. 31 book submission for their VSP promo are shipped and coming back this weekend (today!). Considering I added pressing to about half of the books, I expected the longer turnaround time for the verification + pressing + grading + sealing processes and not too bothered by it. The books popped up on screen right as I logged in to the account, so about 3-4 of the books' grades have been spoiled, but I look forward to opening up the box for the surprise grades!

The Star Wars book was a little lower than I wanted but after the press it looks gorgeous in the slab.

The last two books were actually my first slabbed books ever, though they’ve spent most of the time in a CBCS Green slab with “names written on cover.” Fortunately all the signatures pass verification but even with a press, one book dropped a grade while the other maintained it

Finally! As previously mentioned, about 1/2 of the books needed pressing after spending ages in the boxes and being just about forgotten. Very happy overall, now going through the task of keeping 1/2 and putting the others up for sale.
