Turn around times CGC vs CBCS21333

Collector Nate79 private msg quote post Address this user
It’s official. I now know that at least for the time being CBCS has significantly shorter turn around times than CGC. I sent one Modern book submission to CBCs and another to CGC. Both submissions arrived according to my tracking from the delivery service on Oct. 30th but it took an extra week after that for the CGC submission to show up as recieved. Today is Nov. 21st and CBCS just reached out to let me know my submission is completed and being sent back when I check the status of my CGC submission. It still shows as “scheduled for grading” so CBCs is finished and CGC hasn’t even really started !

@Nate79 well it takes extra time for cgc to warp those books into the bananas....

CGC turn times are irrelevant because we abandoned using them in 2021. Why anyone but flippers would continue to do so is a mystery beyond comprehension.

Agreed.

I wouldn't bother even if their TAT was one day. I'd just have to pay double again for CBCS to correct all the mistakes.

Two or three books popped up on eBay that I would to have, but they're 44 books. So, it's a no go.

While this picture might be true....CGC should also be proportionally staffed, so the TAT disparity observation is fair.

Your second statement is 100% true.

Reslabbing banana books cuts into your TATs.
