| Ed came in 2nd place if we want to go that route....maybe give @Pre_coder credit for the win but have @esaravo pick the theme for the next contest. Also, maybe update the rules to address what to do, timeframes, etc. when a contest winner doesn't post the next contest.  |

| We should add a process to the rules to address this if it happens again. Something like..."The contest winner has 48 hours (by Sunday/Monday 9pm EST) to post the new cover contest. If the winner does not post a new cover contest, the 2nd place/runner up contestant can post the new contest." Just an idea in case it happens again. EDIT: we should also update the WCC winner stickied thread. The TV themed cover winner was @SteveRicketts I believe....@Pre_coder won this one Knockout themed contest. |

Thank you all very much for your concerns.  @DrWatson No, I did not indulge in another batch of my homemade dumplings. Actually, I was in the middle of submitting the new WCC when I heard this painful noise from my sound system, which my laptop was plugged into. Immediately afterwards, my laptop fried,.. which also caused my cellphone to burn out cause it was plugged in as well. I knew my laptop was having problems with wireless connection but I wasn't expecting a total hardware burn out. And not only that, but just a day earlier cylinder #7 on my truck engine (which has been losing compression) decided to crap out as well. So I have been walking 4 miles round trip to work and back home. But I do get a ride often. Anyway, new laptop and new cell, and surprisingly my sound system is okay. I'm back online but still on foot. Can anyone give me a ride to work tomorrow? |
