| @Ginosdad I had thoughts about doing garage sales with Comics books at the house. I was wondering if you can share your experiences as I am a little apprehensive to do it for security and safety reasons. I live in a very safe area but you never know. | ||

@BrianGreensnips....It actually works out pretty well. I only put out "garage sale" priced items out. All my expensive show books and wall books are kept at another location. So, everything that's shown is fairly on the low end. I have a few expensive books out "just in case". My LCS lets me put flyers in the store and that always brings in a lot of people. In return, I put out about two dozen trades to sell for him. I do get worried with people casing the place, but honestly, if they want to steal the 18 boxes of $1 books....I'll help them load the van  . All in all 3rd time doing this. Cheaper than shelling out a couple hundred bucks for a table at a show. Made over $1000 last two sales. Gonna make it a yearly thing. Hope that helps!! |
