New To Your Collection #1821200

Shatner joked that he would always have something booked. It would be rude to die while you had an upcoming event booked!

Got this from @Poka. I've had my eye on this comic since I found out it was Mera's first appearance. looked at many listings then @poka listed it on his sales thread, that's all I needed to bite the bullet and get it.

Thanks, @poka!

Mail call today! Really happy to have won this one at auction. One more Truevision book to cross off my list. It's not the prettiest copy but it's mine. :-)

I don't guess any of you own the copy of Romantic Adventures #47 that is listed in the CBCS Population Report, do you????

A decent first print purchased from a nice gentleman in Washington.

"A Year Passes Like Nothing"

Boy, don't I know it!

Another that is not technically new to the collection, but freshly retrieved after being reholdered from the old case with clips.

Single highest graded by either grading company. Older Mexican comics are hard to find in high grade.

Garden State Comic Fest today in NJ directly from the artist Tom Mandrake (not a fan of art dealers or art facilitators)
Only 1 benjamin
It's on Kodak Photo paper! He explained it allowed him to achieve special effects with a razor that he couldn't do with standard paper. Pretty cool

Also got 4 autographs from Larry Lieber

Here's 1 of the 4 Larry Lieber autographs on my Marvel Masterworks. I needed this badly.
Not often one finds these 4 legends of the early Marvel Silver Age on one book.

Picked these up at a small toy/pop culture show this weekend. Not as exciting as my other purchases this year, but the old piggy bank needs to be replanished before I make another big purchase.

Nice piece...
Joe Sinnott had an elegant and classy signature.
Most other artists barely scribble..

I have always been fond of the gray-tone covers DC put out in the late 50s and 60s and this one is one of my favorites. It's by Russ Heath. Great cover and, like you said, a great piece of art.

X-Men #111. One of my favorite covers. Clink auction win. Still butt hurt about the $25 shipping.

I also picked up a Spider-Man #1 Gold Edition Second Printing 9.8 off eBay, but I can't post it here. It's in a PG(OH!) slab, but the shipping was quite reasonable.
