New To Your Collection #1821200

You do know that the new guy brings the donuts, right? DWeeB1967 private msg quote post Address this user
@00slim That's a really cool idea.

@DWeeB1967 Thanks! If the story were much longer, it just wouldn’t have been realistic to frame it all.

I almost did “part 2” in a separate frame, but since it was an even 12 pages with the cover, I figured this layout made sense.

I don't think it's just the high grades. It's always been this way and it's one of the main reasons why people don't submit to CBCS.

Are CBCS stricter graders or has the cgc become so loose that CBCS is perceived to be stricter when in fact they are simply more accurate?

Loose grading equals higher grades. Higher grades equal more money. That results in more money being spent on what's reflected on the label as opposed to the actual condition of the book. I suppose people can chose what to spend their money on whether I agree with it or not.

There was a moment when I thought I had clicked on the cgc banana thread as opposed to the What's New to Your Collection thread.

It's always been this. Submitters to CGC know it, and it's why so much volume has been driven their way.

The books aren't new, but the sigs are. Most of these are part of the bulk purchase I got from Mike. We've been gradually working on getting them all signed.

And here is the current (and currently only) highest graded piece of CPV dreck for my Raven focus.

Because I took a massive hit selling off the last of my Marvel collection, a family member took pity and helped me get this. Which helps because this might be my last Raven focus issue for a while.
