Awesome. This is one of the most recognized and sought after Pulp issues.

I am very jealous. Congrats on your score.

First show of the year. I was there selling, which I did a lot of, but still found time to walk around and bought a few comics. Last year I decided to try to find all of the Atlas comics. Made a big dent in that today. Then found a few Star Wars to fill in my run. Finished it up with a couple of #1's.

Got the Sulu signed comic book from Boardie @Nuffsaid111, I already had the Kirk signed book for about a year. I’m afraid to put the books in the same box because they might destroy each other. -

In my opinion, Star Trek II and III are the best. But it was the best I could do at the last minute. Luckily, the other signature also came back and verified; that would have been embarrassing, having an authentic Shatner signature on the same book with a fake signature. I got lucky the other one was real.

@sportshort My family had the original cast movies on Laserdisc -- II is probably the best as far as filmmaking - IV will always hold a special place in my heart. Way better than Nemesis and Insurrection.... blech.

@karn9, Agreed II is the best. What nearly knocked me over was the fact that they made a second Star Trek movie after the 1st one was a snoozer. It both sucked and blew. After the first movie ended, I was sure the studio would never greenlight another movie.

Thanks @NoahSult for generosity. First graded comic in collection to be signed. It’s authentic because straight from cover artist

Noah sult did a sketch for me as well. It looks like a cover art instead of a remarque. Great artist.

to be honest never had heard of him outside of here. He told me what he was sending me and took me several minutes to realize he was the cover artist on the variant. now I am a fan (seen other covers he did). so will keep any eye out for any

The latest addition to my collection as of this afternoon, courtesy of DrWatson. Pleasure doing business with you, sir. (Please disregard my neurotic behavior.)

Homage to EC's infamous decapitation cover. I am psyched to have it.(The Wolverine #55. I don’t have the EC Crime SuspenStories. Mucho dinaro)

In 2010 I acquired my first Gonzalo Mayo Vampirella original art.

This undated Vampirella pin-up art is the work of Gonzalo Mayo, a Peruvian artist who worked extensively for Warren throughout the 1970s. Some of his best known work was on the vampire vixen and this is not only an alluring image of the character, but one that displays a great deal of technical mastery. This "full bleed" art has an image area of approximately 11" x 17".

Today I got my second...

For one reason or another, I skipped Kelly Thomason’s run when it came out. and wouldn’t you know, it won the Eisner award.

It just arrived and it’s nice to have the full run in one trade.
