      This was my last submission back from CGC. I canceled my auto renewal to their membership before sending these out. Luckily they all came back not damaged and no bananas, however I thought they were a little picky with the Bettie Page book. |

| Just received these in the mail today. These are wins from the latest ComicLink winter featured auction. I've recently thought more seriously about completing a run of Showcase (at least #60 through #80). Here's a nice copy to fill one of the gaps.  I've always wanted a copy of this book as it obviously must have been an influence on Bernie Wrightson's color work. I was really hesitant about trying to win this one, however, because it's a CGC 43-series. Unfortunately, it is a banana but I don't see any color-breaking spine stress (yet) that would lower the grade from the 8.5.  This is the one that I'm most proud to have out of the three. It's a substantial upgrade over the 6.0 that I traded away a few years back. I'll be keeping this one for a long time. One more DC supernatural character first appearance crossed off my "personal collection" list.  |

| @figment Thanks! Yea, I'm like you... I've passed up so many CGC books from the 4xxx series since I first saw reports about the banana problems. It's just made me sick to do so especially when nice copies of books that have been on my radar for a long time have popped up. I just couldn't pass this one up though. And I am considering doing what you suggested. I'm usually not one to reholder books unless there is a real reason to do so but this book might be an exception. |

| @HeinzDad I can do you one better. I bought that piece of art at the 1993 or 1994 (I went both years ago so I forget) SDCC. It cost $500. When I bought it, I was deciding between it and another piece of Wrightson art that cost the same price. That piece was an original page from Swamp Thing #5 with ST in pretty much every panel. Looking back, I wish I'd have bought the page instead of the marker art. I'd still have it if I did. But Bernie's marker colors were just so damn cool!! I couldn't walk away without buying it. |

It appears to have been dinged up in the mail but those flaws should press out. Ant-Man was a FB Marketplace impulse buy. Uncle Sam hardcover is just something I’ve been meaning to pick up as a Ross fan & it was 1. back in print & 2. On sale on Amazon.  |
