@DrWatson i suppose I always thought my first time submitting at a con would be just one book. Nope, four books. Two of them are cgc re subs. You should have seen the guys gave when I showed him the spines.

Day one is in the books.

I had a whole year to forget how exhausting the whole thing is.

@drchaos I don’t know if it was just me, but I never experienced this large of a crowd on Thursdays and I’ve been going since 2014

Agreed 100%.
This is no longer fun with not only fighting to get things, but now fighting for a square inch of space on a Thurs.
My time going there is coming to an end in the near future.
It's just nuts the last few years

I think people are wise to what happens on Friday & Saturday, and try to beat the crowd like you.
Gets worse every year. I am going to the Orlando Meg-Con in February on Thursday.
No way I will do another Saturday. 20' wide isles and it's still elbow to elbow....

I actually called out of work today because of how long a day that was. I'm gonna pay for it Monday but what the heck, ya know?

Friday’s theme was Fight Club. Between the Spawn Peach Momoko exclusive fiasco and the near altercation outside of the Jim Lee signing.

Only pick up I got today was free from the standing room only Marvel & Magic the Gathering panel.

There was also a Storm cover, but I traded that along with my Dr. Strange MTG card to another attendee for the Wolvie.

Maybe because I was in panels over half the day, but this Saturday seemed mild with Thursday and Friday being the more crowded and rowdy of days.

I’ll be going back tomorrow to try to get some deals on books I got my eye on.

The marvel D.D. panel was something, huh?!! D'Onofrio and Charlie cox surprising everyone. Plus the great trailer and nice David Mack giveaway comic

@Nuffsaid111 I had to pick my jaw off the floor multiple times during the panel. My boycott of Disney will have to briefly end March 4 😂

Born Again looks just as violent if not more so than the Netflix series. It has to be if they are using Soule’s baddie as the main villain.

In regards to the comic, Mack does not disappoint. The cover was simple yet beautifully done.

Part of the reason I am going back on Sunday is for the other two Marvel panels. I’ll be happy if they are half as good.

You’re going to have to share once you get it back unless you have pics of the Remarque before you submitted.

It’s better than some remarques I’ve seen which are double or triple the cost.

Still have to go through everything but on my first draft in Excel it looks like I got just over 1,000 signatures at the show (including the books with remarks).

Still on fumes after all of that running around.
