| Still early but Jayden Daniels looks like the real deal. During the post-game, Quinn was saying that he was throwing those long bombs during practice and that they are now making it into the regular games. He needs to slide when he runs though. Granted he’s fast but those hits will catch up with him sooner or later. From all my friends that follow college football, Daniels is the real deal. Good poise under pressure. He has some good targets too: McLaurin, McCaffrey, and Ertz. D looks suspect, especially since having Quinn as HC but eventually the Rivera guys will turn over. I can breathe a sigh of relief that the Snyder era is over! |

| Washington finally looks to be rebounding from Snyder's mismanagement of the last 20+ years. They have some solid young players; some wily veterans and Dan Quinn may have learned some things from his last stint as a HC. They'll eventually fix their pass defense, maybe not this season, but I would think they look into some FA and draft picks to do it. On paper, this game was one the Bengals should have won. However, I had a feeling that this could be the proverbial trap game, and I was not wrong. There is a legit chance the Bengals don't win a game through October. They play Carolina next week, where Andy Dalton busted the narrative about Bryce Young not having talent around him. Then October brings the Ravens, Giants, Clowns, and Eagles. It could be a long season for a loaded roster. Unfortunately, that is how it goes with Cincinnati sports. |
